Material Notes: Sandvik Springflex is a duplex (austenitic-ferritic) stainless spring steel with very good spring properties and excellent corrosion resistance. Sandvik Springflex is characterized by:
  • Very good spring properties and fatigue resistance
  • High resistance to stress corrosion cracking (SCC) in chloride containing environments
  • High resistance to general corrosion, pitting and crevice corrosion
  • High tensile strength
  • High modulus of elasticity
Service temperature: -100 to 300°C (-150 to 570°F)
