Base 12 SE is a sulfurized methyl ester designed to offer both lubricity and extreme pressure properties in oil and water dilutable metalworking fluids. Base 12 SE contains active sulfur and is NOT suitable for products destined for use in yellow metal applications, as it will stain. Base 12 SE can be utilized in straight oil machining, drawing and stamping, as well as a soluble oil component. Base 12 SE may be stored in an original container or bulk storage tank. Prolonged exposure to 0°F may result in solidification. If the product solidifies, warming to 100-110°F will reconstitute the product. Recommended blending temperatures should not exceed 100-130°F.Information provided by DoverChem |
