| Product Description: Akrochem Antioxidant BLS-25 is a reaction product of acetone and diphenylamine. Akrochem Antioxidant BLS-25 offers protection against flex-cracking, heat and oxidation to natural and synthetic elastomers such as NR, CR, NBR, SBR, BR and EPDM. Dark brown discoloration in compounds when exposed to light and contact staining to light colored rubber articles should be a concern. Akrochem Antioxidant BLS-25 has minimal effect on cure rate and cure state and is non-blooming after cure but can migrate during cure. The antioxidant is suitable for peroxide cure with little or no effect. Akrochem Antioxidant BLS-25 is insoluble in water and gasoline but soluble in acetone, ethylene dichloride and benzene.Information provided by Akrochem Corporation |
