Tenax®-A rTPWFCX PEEK-HTA40 are recycled thermoplastic chips that derive from Tenax®-E TPWF PEEK-HTA40 semi-preg [PLS #034]. The polymer matrix of PEEK (polyetheretherketone) offers excellent resistance to chemicals and solvents and the utilization of woven Tenax®-E HTA40 a high tenacity carbon fiber, result in a composite offering a woven reinforcement with lightweight mechanical performance. Chips can be supplied as a bulk “molding compound” or molded into a consolidated laminate form (Tenax®-A rTPWFCLX PEEK-HTA40). Product Benefits - Continuous use at elevated temperature
- Low flammability, smoke and toxicity
- Resistant to chemicals and solvents
- Room temperature storage and shipping
- Compliant to Health, Safety and Environment requirement
Process Benefits - Thermo-formable
- Short cycle time
- Over-molding
- Thermoplastic joining technologies(in laminate form)
