Material Notes: Product Description: Antioxidant 1010 is a non-staining, high molecular weight, hindered phenolic antioxidant. Because of its low volatility, Antioxidant 1010 imparts excellent heat stability and color retention, with good compatibility and low extractability. Outstanding for use with peroxide cures due to minimal cure interference.

Application: Antioxidant 1010 finds application in plastics, rubber, latex, varnishes, adhesives, TPR's and Hot Melts. In plastics, antioxidant 1010 provides excellent antioxidant performance in Polyethylene, Polystyrene, Polyacetal, PVC, AS resin, Methacrylic resin, Polycarbonate, Polyester, and Polymethylpentene as well as many others. In rubbers, Antioxidant 1010 can be used in SBR, EPR, EPDM, Polybutadiene, Neoprene, Nitrile, Polyisoprene, and many other synthetic rubbers. Typical dosage is 0.02% - 0.50% by weight. FDA regulations with Antiox 1010 clearance include 175.105 and 178.2010 [if used according to these regulations, then 177.2600 (Rubber articles) will allow 1010 usage].
