| Michem® Dispersion Urethanes are water-based polyurethane dispersions that can enhance toughness, scratch resistance, water resistance and flexibility of coatings. Michem Dispersion Urethanes are useful for industrial wood, concrete, and metal substrates. Usage: Provides excellent abrasion resistance, water resistance, and high flexibility for floor coatings, parquet lacquers, and industrial coatings. This dispersion is compatible with most common additives, pigments, and pigment preparations and can be combined with other emulsions. Due to the variety of products in the market, compatibility and storage stability have to be tested from case to case. Polyurethane thickeners are highly recommended but most commercial thickeners can be used. Due to the dispersion, it is not mandatory to add coalescing agents. For application properties of the final product, it might be helpful to add co-solvents like glycol ethers. Applications (properties imparted): Concrete (abrasion resistance, block resistance, flexibility, water resistance), OEM Applied Wood Protection (abrasion resistance, block resistance, flexibility, water resistance), On-Site Applied Wood Protection (abrasion resistance, block resistance, flexibility, water resistance), Textiles (abrasion resistance, flexibility, water resistance).
