Product description: In comparison with conventional dimethyl or methyl phenyl polysiloxances, Wacker® AKF 3385 exhibits enhanced lubricity, anti-blocking distinct solubility and defoaming properties. Properties: Wacker® AKF 3385 features low specific solubility, low surface tension and good spreading properties. It therefore functions as antifoam agent for solvent based systems as well as being able to withstand extreme conditions in which to defoam in. The high mechanical resistance of Wacker® AKF 3385 makes it suitable as a special base material for greases and pastes, which in addition to a good lubricating action, have to resist dissolving out. It exhibits a good oxidation and heat resistance which makes it conducive to extreme conditions. Information provided by Wacker Chemie AG. |
