Material Notes:	Protec HP is a high corrosion resistant polypropylene material which exhibits excellent tensile strength and stiffness at elevated temperatures. Homopolymer polypropylene possesses excellent resistance to organic solvents and degreasing agents as well as electrolytic attack. Protec has superior working temperatures and tensile strength. In addition, Protec is lightweight, stain resistant and has a low moisture absorption rate. FEATURES AND BENEFITS Strength- Protec has excellent strength to weight through a range of temperatures. Insulation- Protec has good thermal and electrical insulation properties. Abrasion- Protec has good abrasion resistance and durability. USDA/FDA- Protec is compliant with USDA and FDA regulations for food grade applications. Machinable- Protec can be machined, cut or routed using conventional tooling. Forming- Protec can be thermoformed to make complex parts and shapes. Chemical Resistance- Protec has outstanding chemical compatibility to a broad range of chemistry and temperatures. Purity- Protec is a pure polymer without processing aids or additives. NSF- The National Sanitation Foundation has approved natural Protec HP for food grade contact in food equipment.
