Material Notes:	Claytone II, an organoclay, is recommended as a rheological additive in oil based fluids and drilling muds. Claytone II is a high quality thixotrope suitable for use in a wide variety of oils and solvents. In addition to imparting excellent rheological properties, Claytone II increases the carrying capacity and hole cleaning capabilities of the mud. Additionally, temperature and emulsion stability will be increased and fluid loss decreased. Uses & Advantages: Use in all oil based drilling fluids requiring rheological modification. Use in oil muds that are to be used as packer fluids or for stabilizer of stored muds. Available in easy to handle 50 lb. bags. Economical, convenient, and safe to handle, mix, and store.
