Poco Graphite PS Specialty Graphite  (discontinued **)
Categories: Carbon; Graphite

Material Notes: SSH hardness is 55.

General Poco Specialty Graphite Information: Poco's high strength, fine-grained, isotropic graphites offer maximum design flexibility. Easily machined. High strength and small particle size allow fabrication of complex components containing tight tolerances. Post synthesis treatments available include purification or impregnation with resins, oxidation inhibitors, or metals. Surface treatments offer improved wear characteristics and particle reduction.

Some applications of Poco specialty graphites include anode plates for wet cells, fuel cell plates for solid polymer cells, air bearings, hot gas valves, high temperature bearings, bushings, and seals, hot press dies and rams, furnace furniture/fixturing, rocket engine nozzles, molten metal casting components, vacuum furnace heating elements, space vehicle nose cones, mirrors and optical structures, and satellite heat shields.
