Material Notes: Glass fiber-reinforced polyphthalamide compound for drinking water applications. VESTAMID® HTplus M1634 black is a glass fiber-reinforced (40%), heat-stabilized polyphthalamide compound (PPA). This compound is especially suitable for manufacturing injection molded parts for metal substitution in industrial, household and sanitary equipment in contact with drinking water. Approvals for drinking water: KTW (up to 60°C), WRAS (up to 60°C).,NSF61 (up to 60°C), ACS, DVGW code of practice W270. VESTAMID® HTplus M1634 black is supplied as cylindrical pellets in polyethylene packaging. Drying at 120°C for at least 4 hours before processing is recommended.
