Datum Alloys 304TA Stainless Steel Thin Foil
Categories: Metal; Ferrous Metal; Stainless Steel; T 300 Series Stainless Steel

Material Notes: This precision 304 stainless thin foil has exceptional shape control when laser cutting and etching. It comes in a wide range of dimensions. Material produced to JIS standard G 4313 for 304 H.

Tension annealing (TA) is a specialized process that relieves internal stress while the strip is under tension. This creates the mechanical properties of a hard temper without the rolling stresses typically induced into such material. This results in a hard material that can be laser cut and etched without shape deformation.

Information provided by Datum Alloys.

Vendors: Datum Alloys is the leader in precision alloys for niche applications such as advanced stainless steel foils for the Surface Mount Technology (SMT) industry and of nickel and nickel plated tags used in the manufacture of battery packs. Call +1 607 239 6274 or visit datumalloys.com.
