Chemours Teflon® PTFE CFP614A Resin for Lubricated Paste Extrusion  (discontinued **)
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Fluoropolymer; Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE); Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), Extruded

Material Notes: Available in white powder, often called "fine powder," this fluoropolymer resin is capable of being sheared by lubricated paste extrusion (facilitated by a hydrocarbon liquid) into a coherent fibrous matrix with useful structural integrity. Teflon® PTFE fine powders provide a practical method for producing long lengths of product from a resin that cannot be melt extruded. Resin Characteristics: High reduction ratio; low pressure resin. Uses: Wire and cable coating; spaghetti tubing.

Typical properties for Teflon® PTFE Fine Powder:

Chemours was formed from former DuPont performance chemicals businesses, including DuPont Fluoroproducts, in 2015.

Key Words: Polytetrafluoroethylene
