| F1006 is a clear, colorless polydimethyl siloxane fluid having silanol group in the terminal position. Due to the silanol groups F1006 reacts with itself or with functional silanes in a condensation reaction. The silanol fluids react with Si-H containing fluids by evolution of hydrogen. Application: The reactive F1006 is suitable for intermolecular crosslinking for achieving the desired increase in elasticity. Reactive silicones serve not only to improve the properties of the material, but also the processing conditions. For example, they are used in the finishing of jeans and in pigment printing.
