| EMULTROL E-58 is a tackifier emulsion. It modifies the adhesivity and cohesion qualities of self-adhesives and adhesives based on water dispersions with acrylic resin, latex, EVA and polyurethane. Its main function is to improve the cohesion on these polymers with no significant effects upon tack. This product has a good wetting on silicone paper and is highly stabilized against ageing and oxidation. The product is even UV proof. EMULTROL E-58 is made of very fine particles, thus avoiding scratching the application cylinders and maintaining product stability during storage. Application: The resin emulsion acts as modification component in one and two component aqueous adhesive and adhesive coating systems. This emulsion is added to different based aqueous plastic dispersions to achieve a permanent adhesiveness on bonding surfaces of the films. It is used as well to achieve a long open time. A typical application for this emulsion is for example the modification of aqueous primer dispersion adhesives for the coating of adhesive stripes, labels and film materials.
