ChevronTexaco ATF+3® Automatic Transmission Fluid
Categories: Fluid; Lubricant

Material Notes: General Description

DaimlerChrysler has had their own ATF specifications for many years, but as of 1997, Chrysler owners manuals no longer list DEXRON as an acceptable replacement. ATF+3 is a readily available mineral oil-based ATF that is suitable in any application calling for ATF PLUS® , ATF+2® , or a Type 7176® fluid. Vehicles manufactured after 1999 require ATF+4® , a synthetic-based ATF only available through DaimlerChrysler.

Chevron ATF+3 is specially formulated to optimize performance of Chrysler transmissions and transaxles.

Applications

Chevron ATF+3 Automatic Transmission Fluid is designed for use in all Chrysler automatic transmissions and automatic transaxles where a Mopar ATF PLUS, ATF+2 or ATF+3 fluid is specified.

It is not recommended for use in transmissions specifying either DEXRON® or MERCON® type fluids

Chevron ATF+3 Automatic Transmission Fluid has been registered with the Chrysler Corporation.
