Thermal Ceramics Kaomat 200-SL Blanket
Categories: Ceramic; Oxide; Silicon Oxide

Material Notes: Kaomat 2000-SL silica blanket is a high temperature "shot free" amorphous silica blanket which has been heat treated during the manufacturing process to reduce residual shrinkage. This durable product has a low thermal conductivity, high strength, and a service temperature up to 2000°F (1093°C).

Features:No “shot” blanket, Excellent dimensional stability, High tensile strength, Available in module form.

Applications:Asbestos replacement, Steam and gas turbine blanket, Insulation of marine exhaust systems, Low temperature (<1200°F {649°C}) insulation, Aluminum homogenizing furnaces, “No-shot” furnace linings.
