Material Notes: Finathene® 53140 is a high density polyethylene produced by the slurry loop low pressure polymerization process

FINATHENE® 53140 has been especially developed for the manufacturing of blow molded bottles for aggressive liquids and the extrusion and thermoforming of sheets. This resin offers an optimal balance of processing and end-use characteristics in terms of resistance to environmental stress cracking and stiffness.

Finathene® 53140 is best processed at temperatures between 180 and 220°C.
