Material Notes: Andalusite. Hydraulic bond. A 1650°C grade, low cement castable exhibiting high strengths, good abrasion resistance and excellent resistance to thermal shock. Contains a non-wetting additive for enhanced resistance to aluminium penetration and corundum growth.

Typical applications: Suitable in molten aluminium contact for melting and holding furnaces.
