Nylene® 724 Nylon 6
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Nylon (Polyamide PA); Nylon 6 (PA6); Nylon 6, Heat Stabilized

Material Notes: Dry as molded. Injection molding grade. Nylene 724 is the heat stabilized version of 721 which is a medium impact modified nylon for fast, easy molding. In addition to heat stabilization to prevent thermal degradation, parts molded from Nylene 724 have good impact strength right out of the mold without post conditioning. Stiffness is near that of unmodified nylon 6. Cylinder temperatures should be in the 450 - 500ºF range.

ALM, Nylene Canada, and Custom Resins are all operting companies of Polymeric Resources Corporation.

Key Words: Polyamide 6
