NOVA Chemicals P263B Expandable Polystyrene  (discontinued **)

Material Notes: A fast expanding regular grade consisting of spherical polystyrene beads containing pentane as expansion agent, typically used for low density foam.

Applications: Styrocell P263B is used mainly for producing low density blocks, which are subsequently cut to board insulation.

This grade complies with major European and US food contact regulatory regimes, including: European Community Directive 90/128/ECC, including 92/39EEC and 95/EC, relating to plastics materials and articles, intended to come into contact with foodstuffs. Dutch Food Packaging Regulations. Recommendations of German Federal Office of Health (BGA), now regulated by the new Institute of Consumer Health (BGVV), Empfehlung V. US Food and Drug Administration Code of Federal Regulations title 21, sections 177.1640 (Polystyrene) and 178.3010 (Blowing Agents).
