Material Notes: Fully heat treatable alloy for use up to 400°F. Excellent corrosion resistance and castability. Cast products possess a fine-grained microstructure and pressure tightness. Easily machined. Usual Mg surface treatments may be applied. Uses include motorsports and aerospace.
