Material Notes: Melidin® 7021 CM is a self-lubricating compression molded polyimide that contains 15% graphite filler. Melidin® 7021 has a low coefficient of friction and high heat resistance, and is best for high temperature bearing, seals, thrust washers, and low-wear applications.

Specification Qualifications:
Satisfies Type II, Class 1P for ASTM D 6456-99: Standard Specification for Finished Parts Made from Polyimide Resin
Satisfies Class 2, Form P for SAE AMS 3644G: Polyimide, Molded Rod, Bar and Tube, Plaque, and Formed Parts
Satisfies Type II, Class 1P for MIL-R-46198: Resin, Polyimide, Hot Pressed or Pressed and Sintered
