Di(2-Propyl Heptyl) phthalate (DPHP) is a phthalate ester plasticiser based on isomeric C10 alcohols. DPHP is a nearly colourless, clear and practically anhydrous liquid with a hardly noticeable odour. It is soluble in the usual organic solvents and is miscible and compatible with all of the monomeric plasticisers commonly used in PVC. DPHP is almost insoluble in water. Owing to its low volatility, DPHP is quite suitable for higher temperature applications such as wire & cable and automotive interior trim. With excellent weather resistance, it makes DPHP a good choice for outdoor applications such as roofing membranes and tarpaulins. DPHP can be used to substitute DINP, of which the weather resistance is better and the cost is lower. Advantages: - Excellent weather resistance
- Good anti-fogging properties
- Wonderful thermal aging properties
- Smell lighter
- Higher output of thermoplastic processing
- With good compatibility with PVC
Usage:- Wires & Cables
- Automotive
- Leather
- Roofing membranes
- Tarpaulines
- Outdoor PVC products
