Material Notes: Finished parts and basic shapes made from 10% by weight PTFE and 15% by weight graphite filled polyimide material for applications requiring a very low coefficient of friction and self-lubricating properties. Applications include: aerospace bearings and bushings, surgical instrument components.

Specification Qualifications: ASTM D 6456-99 Standard Specification for Finished Parts Made from Polyimide Resin (Type II Class 3M). SAE AMS 3644G Polyimide, Molded Rod, Bar and Tube, Plaque, and Formed Parts (Class 4 Form M). MIL-R-46198 Resin, Polyimide, Hot Pressed or Pressed and Sintered (Type II Class 3M).
