Material Notes: Melidin® 7211 DF is a direct formed polyimide that contains 15% graphite and 10% PTFE fillers. This grade has the lowest coefficient of friction of the Meldin® 7000 series polyimides.

Specification Qualifications:
Satisfies Type II, Class 3D for ASTM D 6456-99: Standard Specification for Finished Parts Made from Polyimide Resin
Satisfies Class 4, Form D for SAE AMS 3644G: Polyimide, Molded Rod, Bar and Tube, Plaque, and Formed Parts
Satisfies Type II, Class 3D for MIL-R-46198: Resin, Polyimide, Hot Pressed or Pressed and Sintered
