Material Notes: Description: A hexavalent chromium compound and a powerful oxidizing agent. Health effects are limiting applications. Uses: Chromium plating, wood preservation industry, anodizing aluminum, corrosion resistance applications, sealing phosphate coatings applied to iron or steel, bright dipping of brass, acid cleaning of Al and Mg and organic synthesis.
Forms Available: Various granulations available from 3-6 mm fused pieces down to as small as nanoparticles.
