solder replacement adhesives

Superior Flux Superior No. 25 Silver Brazing Liquid
Categories: Metal; Nonferrous Metal; Solder/Braze Alloy

Material Notes:
  • VOC-Free Flux
  • Excellent choice for jewelry, musical instruments and other applications.
  • Boosts productivity, efficiency, and output for SS409 Tube Welding
Description: Superior No. 25 is a VOC-Free, liquid brazing flux, containing borates and fluorides. It performs well on ferrous and non-ferrous alloys, as well as precious metals. The flux exhibits excellent capillary action, drawing the silver solder into narrow joints. Furthermore, it exerts powerful scavenging action on most metal oxides, removing tarnish, scale, and other impurities yielding strong brazed joints.

Applications: Superior No. 25 is used for brazing in furnaces with poor atmospheres for joining jewelry parts and musical instruments, and for any brazing job that requires a liquid flux. Another application is in Tube Welding where the flux reduces electrical requirements in induction process, removes oxide levels on surface to yield a better, stronger joint.
