Dover Chemical EM 40 Modified Glycerol Monotallate Surfactant
Categories: Other Engineering Material; Additive/Filler for Polymer

Material Notes: EM 40 is a specially modified glycerol monotallate that is an oil soluble, non-ionic liquid surfactant. EM 40 is an excellent emulsifier for water in oil emulsions and can be used with hydrophilic emulsifiers to yield both oil in water and water in oil emulsions. EM 40 is soluble in many alcohols, aromatic and aliphatic hydrocarbons, but is insoluble in water. It is ashless and will not deposit a metallic film or stain metal subject to annealing or heat treated operations.
