Dover Chemical CHLOREZ 700S Solid Chlorinated Alkane

Material Notes: Chlorez 700S is a solid, 70% chlorinated alkane which is used in a variety of applications including paints, coatings, rubber, adhesives, polyolefins, textiles & fabrics. Chlorez 700S is used primarily as a flame retardant and shows excellent synergies with antimony trioxide. Additionally, ancillary improvements in various grades of rubber have been seen with improvements in both tensile and tear properties. In polyolefins, Chlorez 700S is generally recommended for use in standard grades of low-density polyethylene. In mineral filled polypropylene composites, Chlorez 700S has been used as a coupling agent.
