Lubrizol Stat-Rite® M-809 Static Control Acrylic
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Acrylic (PMMA); Acrylic, General Purpose, Molded

Material Notes: Stat-Rite® M-809 is a static dissipative Acrylic alloy. Stat-Rite® M-809 utilizes the patented Stat-Rite® inherently dissipative polymer (IDP) alloy system to provide clean, permanent ESD protection. Stat-Rite® IDP alloys provide consistent static dissipation even when extruded, injection molded or thermoformed into components.

Features:

  • Permanent static dissipative performance
  • Humidity insensitive
  • Recyclable and reusable

Applications:

  • Thermoformed packaging
  • PCB trays
  • Electronic component packaging

Properties of all Stat-Rite® polymer products in the molten state are adversely affected by moisture. Although Stat-Rite® compounds are dry when packaged, trace amounts of moisture can be absorbed during storage and handling. For best results, always dry the material three to four hours at 70°C (160°F) in a dehumidifying hopper dryer.

Available in Americas, Europe, Middle East, Africa, India and Asia
