Material Notes: 220 is a natural homopolymer, recommended for higher pressure series pipe applications such as municipal water service pipe. This LDPE resin may be safely used as articles or components of articles intended for uses in contact with food as provided in FDA regulation 21 CFR 177.1520 - Olefin polymers, and its specifications 2.2, subject to extraction limitations on the finished food-contact article as specified in that regulation.
