Material Notes: RCF. Kaowool Sealcoat HT is a pneumatically applied insulation material specifically designed for hot face lining applications up to 2600°F (1427°C). It’s unique composition of ceramic fibers, proprietary binders and special additives is designed to yield a density that provides optimal insulation characteristics for many applications.

Applications:

  • Grout refractory joints and gaps
  • Hot face coating over fiber or dense refractory
  • Seals furnace lining cracks
  • Back-up lining
  • Furnace maintenance and emergency repairs
