Thermal Ceramics Kaolite 3300 High Temperature Insulating Castables
Categories: Ceramic; Oxide; Aluminum Oxide

Material Notes: Kaolite 3300 is a high strength bubble alumina, lightweight castable with a high-purity binder. It contains less than 0.2% iron oxide and 0.5% silica. Kaolite 3300 is recommended for transfer lines to secondary ammonia reformers, and other applications where resistance to hydrogen atmospheres and silica pickup is critical.

Features:

  • Low thermal conductivity
  • Reduction of the quantity of heat storage and heat transfer produce significant savings in fuel consumption
  • Temperature range up to 3300°F (1816°C)
  • Information provided by Thermal Ceramics
