Saint-Gobain CHR® M851 Polyester Film Backing Natural Rubber Adhesive Pressure Sensitive Tape

Material Notes: CHR® M-Series (1 Mil PET/Rubber adhesive) is manufactured from polyester film with rubber pressure-sensitive adhesive.

Features/Benefits: M851 is designed to use as a flash mask protection tape in metal or composite bonding. The thermosetting rubber adhesive system offers excellent quick-stick properties and flag resistance, yet unwinds easily. The polyester backing resists damage from sharp edges. Polyester backings offer low-cost, effective holding for materials. Operating temperature is -18 to +163 °C, elongation % at break is 100, tensile strength is 44N/cm and dielectric strength is 5,000 volts.

Applications: M851 offers economical methods to hold, insulate and/or protect various materials.
