Dow Nucrel® 960 Ethylene-Methacrylic Acid Copolymer Resin

Material Notes: Nucrel® 599 is a tough, lightweight, easily processed ethylene copolymer resin. This resin is inherently flexible without the need for plasticizers. The resin can be pigmented, UV-stabilized for exterior applications and painted or plated for special decorative effects.

Typical Applications:

  • Heat sealable coating
  • Carrier resin for color concentrates
  • Metal coating
  • Dispersions
  • Glass coating

Features:

  • Good adhesion to metal and polar substrates
  • Good flow characteristics for compounding applications
  • May be processed into a dispersion through standard dispersion techniques
  • Allows high pigment loadings for concentrates
