Material Notes: Mineral Fiber, Utility grade fiber. 400-LS paper is produced from premium, high quality mineral fibers and organic binders in a unique paper making process. This utility grade paper is noted for good tensile strengths, outstanding handling characteristics, and good insulating values, while being very cost effective. The 400-LS product is a very clean, low shot paper with a high quality surface texture and low thermal conductivity value. 400-LS paper can be die-cut in accordance with customer specifications in a variety of shapes and sizes.

Applications:

  • High temperature gasketing
  • Automotive heat shields and muffler insulation
  • Ladle refractory back up
  • Glass tank refractory back up
  • Appliance/radiant heater insulation
  • Back up for aluminum troughs and metal transfer parts
  • Back up lining for aluminum holding furnaces.
