Environmental stress cracking resistant (ESCR) HIPS. It combines high impact strength with high chemical resistance to oils, fats and chemical agents. Developed in particular for the fridge sector where hydrocarbons are used as blowing agents for PU insulating foams. This grade is suitable for extrusion/thermoforming and injection molding. Delivered in ropund pellets, this material can be also supplied in cylindrical pellets as Edistir PD RR740E.

Applications: Typical applications are inner liners and frames for refrigerators and packaging containers for fatty foods.

Unfilled. Suitable for Injection Molding, Sheet Extrusion, Blow Molding, Casting, Thermoforming. Supplied as pellets. Contains release agent.
