Rulon Bearings

Total PSI 7240 High Impact Polystyrene
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Polystyrene (PS); Polystyrene, Impact Modified

Material Notes: 7240 is a very high impact polystyrene for the extrusion industry. This grade has been designed to be diluted with crystal polystyrene (such as LACQRENE® 140, 1340 or 1540) at higher levels than could be achieved by some comparable high impact polystyrenes. The good melt strength of this grade makes it particularly suited for deep-draw thermoforming.

Application

Dairy sheet, Fill, Seal, Individual dairy pots, Multilayer sheets, Cups, Food trays, Egg boxes

Information provided provided by Total Petrochemicals.

Total Petrochemicals acquired former Fina and Atofina plastics product lines. This product was previously known as LACQRENE®
