Pyrotek U-1 Compressible Board
Categories: Ceramic

Material Notes: U-1 is a high-temperature millboard that is easily cut, punched and shaped. It works well as a roll-cladding material and as compressible gasketing. A unique characteristic of the asbestos-free board is its ability to be formed to various shapes by wet molding. After drying its mechanical properties remain constant. U-1 is made from high-quality, shot free mineral wool and inert filters. It exhibits excellent flame and heat resistance with virtually no dimensional changes. It has self-cleaning properties and has no shot or abrasive elements to scratch hot glass.
Available forms
Boards: 1 m x 1 m
