Celanese Ateva® 1821A Film Ethylene Vinyl Acetate Copolymer Film
Categories: Polymer; Film; Thermoplastic; Ethylene Vinyl Acetate; Ethylene Vinyl Acetate Copolymer (EVA), Film Grade

Material Notes: Ateva® 1821A is a co-extrusion resin with superior sealability and strength. This EVA resin may be safely used as articles or components of articles intended for uses in contact with food as provided in FDA regulation 21 CFR 177.1350 - Ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymers, subject to extraction limitations on the finished food-contact article as specified in that regulation. This polymer may be processed on conventional extrusion equipment. It is recommended that the melt temperature be kept below 210°C as decomposition can occur at higher temperatures. Properties listed are for a film produced on a 24:1 L/D, 40 mm extruder with a 100 mm die, at a melting temperature of 210°C. Additives: Antioxidant

Applications: Flexible Packaging
