Hifax polypropylene resins based on the Catalloy process are used in applications such as building and construction (e.g., single-ply roofing), industrial applications (e.g., wire and cable), and automotive industries. Hifax priovides good processability, excellent impact resistance, a broad range of stiffness from very soft to rigid products, high temperature resistance and low linear coefficient of thermal expansion. Hifax TYC 1087X BLACK very high melt flow, very high flexural modulus, mineral-filled, paintable thermoplastic elastomeric olefin (TEO) resin has excellent stiffness and cold temperature ductility. It also has outstanding flow performance. It is typically used for automotive bumper fascia. Applications: Automotive Parts, Bumpers Information provided by LyondellBasell. |
