Material Notes: Description: DRAKE PAI 4200 is a new grade of PAI available in rod, plate, and Seamless TubeĀ® for machining. It is created from Torlon 4000 T resin that had been compounded into pellets, making it suitable for extrusion and injection molding. Furthermore, it is an extreme temperature capable, fatigue resistant, high purity, and high performance thermoplastic for parts requiring the performance of unreinforced PAI, such as Torlon 4203, but without TiO2, which is considered a potential contaminant in some applications.

  • Wafer probes, tools, fixtures
  • Electrical insulators
  • Fasteners used within the plasma etch chamber
