| Properties: K-DPGB 50 is a mixed glycol benzoate ester, is clear liquid with chemically stable properties and high boiling point. It is slight soluble in water and very soluble in polymers. Application: K -DPGB 50 is a versatile monomeric plasticizer. It functions very well in several application areas, it is primarily known for its exceptional utility as a plasticizer for flexible PVC & polyvinyl acetate adhesives. Its compatibility with polyvinyl acetate emulsions allows the tailoring of adhesive systems – with excellent wet tack, set times and open times. K -DPGB 50 is also an efficient plasticizer in acrylic latex caulk formulations. Acrylic Latex caulks containing K-DPGB 50 are stable with the cured caulk showing good adhesion characteristics. K-DPGB 50 is a high solvating polyvinyl chloride plasticizer displaying utility in plastisol and dry blended vinyl formulations. Inherent excellent solvating characteristics allow fast, lower temperature processing of vinyl/co-vinyl compositions. After incorporated, has excellent stain and extraction resistance to aliphatic solvents.
