| Prime PO 500 is a Polyolefin that has many of the physical properties of a Copolymer Polypropylene. The melt index, density, flex modulus, heat deflection and izod are typical of Polypropylene. Standard grades of Polypropylene have a very small processing window with very little hot strength. This product was designed for thermoforming and has better hot melt strength than typical Polypropylene. Some resin manufacturers offer a high hot strength PP, however, it carries a premium. Applications: PO 500 was designed for any thermoformed product that requires a Polypropylene material. It is ideal for roll fed forming as well as large cut sheet forming.
