| Product highlights: CAB-O-SIL TS-720D fumed silica, the densed form of CAB-O-SIL TS-720 fumed silica, is a medium surface area fumed silica which has been surface modified with polydimethylsiloxane. The bulk density of CAB-O-SIL TS-720D fumed silica has been mechanically increased for faster incorporation and ease of handling. Key applications: CAB-O-SIL TS-720D fumed silica is hydrophobic treated densed fumed silica, making it an excellent choice for moisture sensitive systems. Further, the surface chemistry of CAB-O-SIL TS-720D fumed silica makes it a very effective stable rheology control additive for medium to high polarity systems such as epoxy, urethane, and vinyl ester adhesives and bonding pastes. With its higher bulk density, CAB-O-SIL TS-720D fumed silica is faster to incorporate into formulations, but more difficult to disperse.
