| WACKER® AF 2140 is a highly active modified amino functional silicone micro-emulsion designed for uses as a base in the formulation of textile softeners and lubricants. WACKER® AF 2140 will impart an extremely soft, supple hand without the associated yellowing. WACKER® AF 2140 little or no shade change. Made with AF-21. Application: WACKER® AF 2140 is particularly suitable as softener for the impregnation of fibers and textiles. WACKER® AF 2140 imparts a very soft, smooth and elastic hand to woven and knitted fabrics. WACKER® AF 2140 improves the wash-and-wear properties and the crease recovery angle, sewability and tear strength and reduces abrasion loss. The effects are fast to washing and dry cleaning. WACKER® AF 2140 has little effect on the degree of white when usual application conditions are adhered to.
