| Characterization: Bayblock Prep is a water-based, single component surfacer. Properties / Applications: Bayblock Prep is a water-based surfacer, which includes a blend of surfactants specially formulated for the preparation of EPDM roofs. Used as is, this material improves the adhesion of water-based coatings as well as polyurethane foam to EPDM. Bayblock Prep surfacer is a single component material. As with any product, use of Bayblock Prep surfacer in a given application must be tested (including but not limited to field testing) in advance by the user to determine suitability. Covestro sold their spray polyurethane foam business to Accella in 2017. |
