Product Description: Akroform® DTDM-80/EPR/P is an 80% polymeric dispersion of 4,4-Dithiodimorpholine in EPR. DTDM is an efficient sulfur donor (approximately 30% by weight) for prompting good heat aging and compression set resistant formulas. Applications: DTDM provides rapid cure rate iwht a long scorch safety. It is activated when used with Thiazole, Thiruram and Dithiocarbamate type accelerators. DTDM is non-staining, non-discoloring, non-blooming and the master batch is easy to disperse. Recommended dosage (active ingredient) in natural rubber is 1.0 – 2.0 phr; in synthetic polymers, 1.0 phr. Advantages: Polymer bound or encapsulated dispersions are a proven means of upgrading plant safety, efficiency, quality & raw material control. Akrochem polymer bound or encapsulated chemical dispersions eliminate any irritating dust, as well as other potential hazards in handling powders in the plant. The physical form is easy to handle and weigh accurately. With a dispersion, better uniformity of the mix at lower processing temperatures is possible. Information provided by Akrochem Corporation |
