Categories: Fluid

Material Notes: Product description: Bis-(tallowacylamidoethyl)-polyethoxy-methyl-ammonium-methosulfate

Application: REWOQUAT® W 222 PG is recommended for the preparation and finishing of nonwovens, yarns, woven and knitted goods made of cellulosic and synthetic fibers (polyester, polyamide, poly-acrylonitrile), as well as their blends. REWOQUAT® W 222 PG is especially recommended for the treatment of cotton and cotton blends for knitted goods and terry cotton. REWOQUAT® W 222 PG is suitable for application by the exhaust method and from short liquor, e. g. padder or backwasher.

Properties / Benefits: REWOQUAT® W 222 PG is a cationic surfactant compatible with non-ionic, amphoteric and cationic finishing products. REWOQUAT® W 222 PG is stable to hydrolysis and has good heat stability. It exhibits good stability versus acids, alkalis, electrolytes and hardness salts in conditions currently encountered in practice. REWOQUAT® W 222 PG is readily dispersible in water and has weak emulsifying properties. REWOQUAT® W 222 PG has a strong antistatic effect, is highly substantive and imparts to the treated goods a soft, dry and fluffy handle. White goods treated with REWOQUAT® W 222 PG show very little yellowing and good rewetting properties. REWOQUAT® W 222 PG has good levelling properties on cationic dyes. It can be formulated with polyethylene waxes and siloxanes.
